Next Up...Robert Gibbs

Look for Robert Gibbs, aide to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) during his campaign and in his Senate office, will be named White House press secretary if he wants the position.

Gibbs was almost always the senior official on Barack's jet, Air Obama. As communications director Gibbs was the key strategist in Obama's questionable rise to the national stage.

The job has not been formally offered.

The announcement should be viewed favorably by reporters, as if we really care. The press briefings at the White House are almost always boring waste of times, and Gibbs will basically act as Obama's misinformation and no comment Officer. Meanwhile, in other meaningless news from the Transition front, Obama on Friday will hold a press conference where the key goal is to LOWER PUBLIC EXPECTATIONS. On Monday, Obama and his wife have agreed to meet the Bush's at the White House for a mutally beneficial PHOTO OP.
